Americans for Prosperity (AFP) activists recently traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of their ongoing Protect Prosperity campaign. The grassroots movement is advocating for the continuation of tax cuts initiated during President Trump’s administration.

Emily Greene, the State Director for Pennsylvania, was among those who made the trip to Capitol Hill. Greene held meetings with Pennsylvania lawmakers to discuss extending provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). According to Greene, these provisions save the average family in Pennsylvania $2,394 annually in federal taxes and help preserve 33,339 jobs across the state.

In addition to tax cuts, Greene addressed a rescissions package proposed by the White House aimed at eliminating what she describes as wasteful spending.
