On Sunday, March 16, former Cedar Crest High School standout Austin Beard’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, won 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgetown Hoyas.
The game took place at Capital One Park. This was their third matchup against the Hoyas this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Sonny Pittaro Field against Rider Broncs.
