On July 8, 2025, Senator Gebhard commemorated an important historical event. He shared that “On July 8, 1776, the Berks County Liberty Bell rang across Berks County to assemble townsfolk and announce the newly adopted Declaration of Independence.” The occasion was marked by a special celebration held at the Berks County Services Center.
The following day, July 9, 2025, he highlighted the seasonal activity of visiting farmers markets. In his post, he stated that “Summer is a great time to visit a farmers market for fresh fruits, vegetables and specialty products.” He also provided resources for locating nearby markets.
