On June 18, 2025, Congressman Meuser questioned the alignment of certain Democratic leaders with sensible policies. He remarked, “Most will say they agree with Arnold’s comments (hopefully). Why? Because they make total sense.” He further criticized Democratic governors, including Pennsylvania’s governor, for actions that he believes are contradictory to these sensible policies.
The following day, June 19, 2025, Congressman Meuser acknowledged Juneteenth as a significant historical event in the United States. In his post, he stated “Today, we recognize Juneteenth—commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the enduring promise of freedom and equality.” He emphasized reflecting on history and celebrating progress while recommitting to unifying principles.
On June 21, 2025, Congressman Meuser turned his attention to economic matters. He expressed support for potential easing measures by the Federal Reserve and commended Chairman Powell’s efforts amidst challenging circumstances. According to him “Whether you take a broad view of the economy or focus squarely on the Fed’s dual mandate…” Chairman Powell deserves recognition for managing difficulties associated with record spending under the Biden Administration.
