Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania’s 9th Congressional District, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing various topics including economic development in his district, criticism of former FBI Director James Comey, and recognition of the U.S. military.
On May 15, 2025, Congressman Meuser tweeted about his meeting with leaders from the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association. He highlighted their upcoming relocation to Grantville within his district, PA-09. The new headquarters is expected to “triple operational capacity and expand their workforce training academy.”
The following day, on May 16, 2025, Congressman Meuser expressed strong opinions regarding former FBI Director James Comey. He described Comey as an “extremely unlikable brazenly arrogant individual” who “single-handedly deteriorated the reputation of the FBI.” Meuser accused Comey of presenting false information to President Trump during a visit to the Oval Office.
On May 17, 2025, in observance of Armed Forces Day, Congressman Meuser honored U.S. military personnel through a tweet acknowledging their service and sacrifices. He emphasized their role in protecting freedoms and maintaining America’s strength by thanking those who serve—past, present, and future—for their courage and commitment.
The Pennsylvania Petroleum Association plans to move its headquarters to Grantville in PA-09 to enhance its operations and workforce training capabilities.
