Congressman Dan Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, used his Twitter account on March 13, 2026, to address recent hearings focused on failures within the Little Rock Housing Authority.
In a post from that day, Meuser stated, “I held today’s @FinancialCmte Oversight & Investigations Committee hearing to fully understand how certain failures within the Little Rock Housing Authority were allowed to continue for so long, and to make sure the necessary fixes are put in place. That’s why our first hearing” (March 13, 2026).
Later that day, he posted about the findings of the subcommittee hearing: “At today’s @FinancialCmte Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee hearing in Little Rock, we examined serious failures in financial oversight and recordkeeping at the Little Rock Housing Authority. I heard from witnesses about missing records, blocked access to accounts, and” (March 13, 2026).
A subsequent tweet expanded on testimony presented during the session: “At today’s @FinancialCmte Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee hearing in Little Rock, I heard testimony on failures in oversight at the Little Rock Housing Authority and related housing properties. Witnesses described past schemes involving straw buyers and shell” (March 13, 2026).
Dan Meuser has served as a member of Congress since replacing Lou Barletta in 2019. He was born in Babylon, New York in 1964 and currently resides in Dallas. Meuser graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York Maritime College Cornell University in 1988.
