On June 11, 2025, Congressman Meuser posted about his meeting with AFPPennsylvania to discuss the BBB legislation. He noted that the bill aims to make permanent the 23% small business deduction (Section 199A), restore immediate R&D expensing, and bring back 100% bonus depreciation. These measures are described as critical for small businesses, manufacturers, and job creation.
Later that day, he tweeted about an event involving young artists from Schuylkill Haven High School. According to his post, student artists Arianna Yule and Sarah Tiver traveled to Washington D.C. with their families to celebrate their winning pieces in this year’s Congressional Art Competition. Congressman Meuser praised their submissions as “incredibly impressive.”
In another tweet on June 11, Congressman Meuser expressed satisfaction over the progress of his ACCESS Act of 2025 within the Financial Services Committee Republicans. As per his statement, the bill was passed unanimously with a vote of 51-0. The legislation is designed to reduce regulatory burdens for entrepreneurs by raising the financial review threshold from $100,000 to $250,000 for crowdfunding activities.
