Born in Babylon, New York, Meuser has been active in his role in Congress and has engaged with different organizations and individuals to address pressing issues.
On February 11, 2025, Congressman Meuser announced the release of Marc Fogel from wrongful detention in Russia. He stated, “Marc Fogel is finally free after years of wrongful detention in Russia. For 1,255 days, Marc suffered in a Russian prison, and after just 22 days in office, President Trump was able to secure his release.” He expressed gratitude for being involved in efforts to bring Fogel home.
Later that day, Meuser tweeted about a meeting he had with Kevin Fromer, President and CEO of the Financial Services Forum. In this tweet dated February 11, he mentioned discussing priorities for the financial system under the Trump administration: “I had a great meeting today in my DC office with Kevin Fromer… We discussed ways the @realDonaldTrump Administration can prioritize access to capital…”
On February 12, Meuser attended an event organized by the Firefighters Association of the State of Pennsylvania. He described his participation at their annual breakfast event: “Breakfast this morning was spent with the Firefighters Association… It was great to sit down with these dedicated men and women who put their lives on the line for our communities.”
