Congressman Dan Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania’s 9th congressional district, has recently shared updates on his public engagements and upcoming media appearances through a series of posts on social media.
On August 13, 2025, Meuser recounted his participation in the opening events of the Little League World Series in Williamsport. He wrote, “Yesterday, we kicked off the Little League World Series in Williamsport by joining local community leaders for a welcome event hosted by Ed Metzger before participating in the Grand Slam Parade alongside Nancy Frye, Abigail, Terri, and Ruth Lauchle, Susannah Schuler, Robin”.
Later that same day, Meuser attended Ag Progress Days to recognize agricultural advancements within Pennsylvania. In his post he stated: “Today, I joined Ag Progress Days to celebrate the incredible agricultural innovation and tradition of our Commonwealth. It was great to walk the grounds with Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Federation President Chris Hoffman and join him at the Farm Bureau booth, where we were met by”.
On August 14, 2025, Meuser announced an upcoming appearance on national television. He posted: “Tune in to @FoxBusiness tomorrow morning, Friday, at 7:20 am. I will be joining @MorningsMaria to discuss what Congress is doing to end harmful Debanking policies, the latest on how President Trump is addressing the D.C. Crime Crisis, and what to expect from the Trump-Putin”.
Williamsport hosts the annual Little League World Series each August. This international youth baseball tournament draws teams from around the world and brings significant attention to north-central Pennsylvania. Ag Progress Days is one of Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exhibitions and provides a platform for industry leaders and policymakers like Congressman Meuser to engage with farmers and discuss emerging issues affecting agriculture in the state.
Meuser’s scheduled appearance on Fox Business comes as Congress continues debate over financial regulations such as “debanking,” which refers to banks discontinuing services for certain customers or industries—a subject that has drawn national scrutiny amid broader concerns about regulatory overreach.
