Congressman Dan Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on his official social media account in early March 2026.
On March 7, Meuser reminded constituents about the upcoming time change for Daylight Saving Time. He wrote: “Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend—don’t forget to spring forward and set your clocks ahead one hour tonight. Wishing everyone in Pennsylvania’s Ninth District a great weekend and a smooth start to the new season! “
Two days later, on March 9, Meuser invited followers to watch an interview featuring himself and Representative Laurel Lee. He stated: “Sit down with @RepLaurelLee and me as we discuss my background in both the public and private sectors, what brought me to Congress, and how I’m fighting for the people of #PA09 in Washington.”
On March 10, Meuser encouraged student participation in an annual event. He posted: ” Calling All Student Artists in Pennsylvania’s Ninth District High school students (grades 9–12) across PA-09 are invited to participate in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol, and the student will be invited to”
Dan Meuser has served as representative of Pennsylvania’s 9th district since replacing Lou Barletta in 2019. Born in Babylon, New York in 1964, Meuser currently resides in Dallas at age 59. He earned his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York Maritime College Cornell University in 1988.
