On September 3, 2025, Meuser addressed ongoing infrastructure challenges facing his district. He stated: “In 2025, too many families and small businesses in my district still lack reliable broadband. Despite $1.5 billion sent to Pennsylvania over the last three years, there’s been zero improvement. At today’s @HouseSmallBiz hearing, I highlighted how loose rules and misallocated”.
The issue of broadband access remains a point of concern for rural communities across Pennsylvania. While significant federal investments have been made to expand high-speed internet access throughout the state over recent years—including allocations exceeding $1 billion—some local leaders have raised concerns about how these funds are being managed or distributed.
