Congressman Dan Meuser, who represents Pennsylvania’s 9th congressional district, addressed several topics in a series of posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on September 17 and 18, 2025. His messages ranged from reflections on National Constitution Day to meetings with local business leaders and condolences for fallen law enforcement officers.

On September 17, Meuser marked Constitution Day by emphasizing the importance of the U.S. Constitution. He stated, “On National Constitution Day, we celebrate the freedoms that make America the greatest nation on earth. Our Constitution safeguards individual rights, keeps government accountable to the people, and serves as a guiding light for free nations everywhere. That’s why schools”.

Later that day, Meuser highlighted a meeting with Rick and Brian Knoebel regarding legislative matters affecting amusement parks in Pennsylvania. He wrote, “Today I was happy to meet with Rick and Brian Knoebel to discuss legislative issues affecting Pennsylvania’s amusement parks and attractions. For nearly a century, Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg has been a place where families across our region come together to make”. Knoebels Amusement Resort is known as one of the largest free-admission amusement parks in the United States and has operated since 1926.

On September 18, Meuser expressed sympathy following an incident involving law enforcement officers in York County. He posted, “Shelley and I are praying for the families and loved ones of the three police officers who were killed today in York County, as well as for the two officers who remain in the hospital. We also lift up the entire York County law enforcement community during this heartbreaking”.

Congressman Dan Meuser has served Pennsylvania’s 9th district since January 2019 after previously holding leadership roles within state government.
