Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania’s 9th District since 2019, has shared updates on recent activities via social media. On April 9, 2025, Congressman Meuser announced a delay in his scheduled telephone town hall due to his commitments on the House Floor. He wrote, “Due to votes on the House Floor, my telephone town hall will be delayed approximately 20 minutes. I look forward to speaking with everyone shortly.” This update informed his constituents of the temporary change in schedule.

Later, on April 10, 2025, Congressman Meuser expressed his gratitude towards participants of the rescheduled telephone town hall. He stated, “Thank you to everyone who joined tonight’s telephone town hall. I appreciated the thoughtful questions and the opportunity to discuss the issues that matter most to you. It’s always valuable to hear directly from the people I serve and provide updates on the work we’re doing in.” This interaction was aimed at maintaining communication with his constituents and addressing their concerns.

Furthermore, on the same day, Congressman Meuser announced the passage of the SAVE Act by the House GOP, underscoring the importance of citizen verification in the voting process. He tweeted, “This morning, the @HouseGOP passed the SAVE Act—a commonsense bill that requires proof of citizenship to register to vote. Only American citizens should vote in American elections. Period. Some states have systems in place that enable noncitizens to register.” The SAVE Act is centered on ensuring voting rights for American citizens only.

Dan Meuser has represented Pennsylvania’s 9th District in U.S. Congress since 2019, succeeding Lou Barletta. Born in Babylon, New York in 1964 and currently residing in Dallas, Meuser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York Maritime College, which he obtained in 1988.
