Hearing set by House GOP on inflation’s impact across Pennsylvania

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, along with Representative John Schlegel and other lawmakers, will hold a hearing to address the impact of inflation on various sectors within the Commonwealth. This event marks the third and final session in the series titled “Relief is Possible: Combatting the Crisis of Cost.”

The hearing aims to explore how inflation affects local communities, small businesses, and households. Testifiers for this session include Bryan Smith, executive director of Lebanon County Christian Ministries; Greg Moreland, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business; and Emily Greene, state director of Americans for Prosperity – Pennsylvania.

The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at 9 a.m., taking place in Room 418 of the House Republican Caucus Room at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. The proceedings are expected to be streamed online.
