The U.S. House of Representatives has unanimously approved H.Res. 364, referred to as the Gold Shield Families Resolution. The resolution, sponsored by Congressman Dan Meuser from Pennsylvania’s 9th District, seeks to recognize the sacrifices made by families of fallen first responders and aims to connect them with local community resources.
This bipartisan initiative was inspired by Matt Guedes, Executive Director of Camp Freedom located in Carbondale.
