Lebanon area state officials are organizing a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast to honor local veterans. The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9-11 a.m. at the Campbelltown Fire Hall in Palmyra.

Senator Chris Gebhard (R-48), along with Representatives Russ Diamond (R-102), Tom Jones (R-98), and John Schlegel (R-101), are hosting the breakfast to recognize those who have served in the military.

Gebhard stated, “Our veterans and their families sacrificed so much in order to protect our shores and our freedoms. While we will be forever indebted to them, this breakfast is our way of showing appreciation for their service to our communities and our great nation.”

Diamond added, “Some 800,000 veterans call Pennsylvania home. We are so fortunate to count them among our friends and neighbors, as they make our communities stronger, safer and more prosperous.”

Jones commented, “I look forward to joining Senator Gebhard and my colleagues from the House in honoring our Veterans. I always enjoy hearing the personal stories of their courage and service to our Nation!”

Because space is limited, registration is required for attendance. Veterans can register themselves and one guest by calling Senator Gebhard’s office or online at www.senatorgebhard.com/events.
