Rep. John Schlegel of the 101st Legislative District announced the allocation of $4.25 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants to two projects aimed at enhancing economic growth and supporting local employment.

The Lebanon Valley Exposition Corporation received a $4 million grant for constructing a new exposition center building within the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center complex. Additionally, Whole Plants LLC was awarded $250,000 to aid in building up to three retail dispensaries, enabling Whole Plants Health to sell products directly to patients.

“I advocated for these economic development projects, and I am gratified that the funding has been approved,” stated Schlegel. “These are important projects in our district and will help strengthen our local economy.”

The RACP program, managed by the Office of the Budget since 1986, supports regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement initiatives. Over $590 million in RACP grants were distributed statewide today.
