On July 19, Gebhard wrote about welcoming Vice President J.D. Vance to the state, stating, “It was an honor to welcome @VP J.D. Vance to Pennsylvania this week, while he visited Don’s Machnine Shop in West Pittston to discuss the #onebigbeautifulbill and the tax deductions it contains, along with pro-energy policies that benefit Pennsylvania. #PA #Energy” (posted July 19, 2025). The visit focused on discussions around a proposed bill containing tax deductions and energy policies aimed at benefiting the state.

Later that day, Gebhard described his participation in a local event marking preparations for America’s upcoming semiquincentennial celebration. He posted, ” Countdown to America’s 250th Begins This morning, I had the pleasure of joining State Representative Russ Diamond and #America250PA volunteers at the Fredericksburg Little League Field. On July 20, Gebhard acknowledged media coverage of legislative efforts targeting school property taxes: “Thank you to 69 News WFMZ for covering our legislation to eliminate school property taxes.
