Pennsylvania State Senator Chris Gebhard, who represents a district including Lebanon County and parts of Berks and Lancaster counties, recently used his social media platform to highlight several local achievements and community milestones.
On April 15, 2026, Gebhard posted, “Congratulations to Antonio Lambakis on the ribbon cutting for Buddy’s Breakfast and Lunch! Formerly located in the Lebanon Farmers Market, Buddy’s is now open at 225 N. 8th St. in Lebanon, across from the old train station near the YMCA. Wishing Antonio continued success.”
A day later, on April 16, he recognized a significant accomplishment by a local school athletic team: “Congratulations to the New Covenant Christian School Girls’ Basketball Team on winning the 2025-2026 PIAA District III Class A Championship. This marks the first district title in school history — a tremendous accomplishment.”
On April 17, Gebhard acknowledged progress in regional redevelopment efforts: “Congratulations to Evan Reinhardt and Common Craft Development on the groundbreaking of the Lebanon Steel Works project. I was glad to support this effort to redevelop the long-vacant Bethlehem Steel building into artisan industrial space for 15 to 25 small businesses.”
