Pennsylvania State Senator Chris Gebhard has used his social media platform to highlight local achievements and business milestones in his district, posting a series of congratulatory messages between March 28 and March 30, 2026.
On March 28, Gebhard posted: “Congratulations to Dayna Bernard on becoming the new owner of MG Mercantile in Mount Gretna. The shop features unique, curated goods from local vendors and artisans. I wish Dayna all the best and continued success in this exciting new venture.”
The following day, he marked National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day by recognizing a local eatery’s relocation: “On National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day, I want to congratulate Buddy’s Breakfast and Lunch on officially opening its new location in the City of Lebanon. Formerly located in the Lebanon Farmers Market, Buddy’s is now at 225 N. 8th St., Lebanon.”
On March 30, Gebhard celebrated an athletic achievement within his district: “Congratulations to Timothy Hambright, a senior at Cocalico School District, on reaching an incredible milestone of 1,000 career points. Timothy is only the 9th player in school history to achieve this honor. Wishing him continued success in all his future endeavors.”
Senator Gebhard represents a district that includes Lebanon County as well as parts of Berks and Lancaster counties. He maintains offices across several locations—Harrisburg, Lebanon, Wernersville, and Hamburg—to support constituents. His official website notes active engagement with community events such as veterans appreciation breakfasts and food drives. As chair of the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee—and member of multiple other committees—he has focused legislative efforts on economic development, education improvements, small business support against overregulation, election security measures, protection for virtual currency users, expanded diagnostic imaging coverage for breast cancer patients, and fiscal responsibility benefiting families.
