Borough of Myerstown recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE OF STREET CLOSURE/NO PARKING - WEST MAIN AVENUE ***
To accommodate excavation work by UGI Utilities to install new gas service lines, the 100 and 200 blocks of West Main Avenue will be closed during normal business hours starting Monday, August 23rd, and will last for approximately one week.
TRAFFIC DISRUPTION:
The streets in the work area will be closed during normal business hours (until approx. 4:00pm), for the duration of the project. Streets should be open in the evening and overnight.
PARKING DISRUPTION:
There will be no parking in the work area at any time, including overnight, for the duration of the project, due to the open trenches along the curb.
