Borough of Palmyra recently issued the following announcement.
The Public Works Department will be picking up leaves and yard waste in the morning only on the following dates:
October 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, and 29, 2021
November 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, and 29, 2021
December 3, 6, and 10, 2021
Yard Waste consists of leaves and small sticks.
Pick up will be accomplished only if the leaves are placed in clear plastic bags and the bags are at the curbside.
Place bags at the curb the evening before the collection day or before 7:00 a.m. the day of collection.
Clear plastic bags can be purchased at the Municipal Center, 101 S. Railroad St., for $.25 per bag.
For large branches contact the Public Works Department at 717-866-6948 leave your name, address and telephone number. The department will contact you to arrange pick up.
