Workforce Roundtable on March 2

Event

Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Workforce Roundtable

Wednesday, March 02, 2022

Workforce Development

This month will be a presentation from Career Ready Lancaster “A career pathways partnership linking people to their career through collaboration of education, business, and community groups. We are developing a quality workforce for a strong local economy. We exist to link career seekers with the multitude of opportunities Lancaster has to offer. We feature incredible local businesses where people can build fulfilling, lifelong careers. Our partners in education, business, and the community collaborate regularly to develop pathways linking career seekers to career providers.” https://careerreadylancaster.com/

Our guests include: Erik Orndorff, Superintendent Pequea Valley School District, and Stuart Savin, Administrative Director, Lancaster County Career & Technology Center.

We are working to see if this model is something we can bring to Lebanon County so this exploratory conversation with key individuals who have made it happen is a great place to start.

We are inviting both employers and educators to this session and hope you are able to join us in person or virtually. As we have limited in person seating, it is very important to let us know if you are joining in person. Feel free to share this information.

If you are unable to join us in person (preferred) you can join online here.
