Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on May 27.

The athletic programs at Cedar Crest College had an impressive year, capturing two conference championships and finishing as the runner-up in field hockey and tennis. After final calculations, the Falcons earned second place overall in the 2021-22 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) President's Cup standings and third overall on the women's side. The second-place finish is the best in school history.

Cedar Crest started the year with a pair of championships in the fall, marking the first titles for both programs. The first title was collected by the cross country program. The Falcons had two runners in the top ten and six in the top 20 to capture the title. The other championship came from the volleyball team, which finished 20-6 overall and 9-0 in league play, culminating in the CSAC Championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance. Cedar Crest finished as the runner-up in both field hockey and tennis.

"I am thrilled for our student-athletes, coaches, and staff who all played a part in this second-place finish in the President's Cup," stated Director of Athletics, Wellness and Recreation Dr. Allen G. Snook Jr. "This finish, once again, confirms the level of talent we have in our department and commitment of both the Athletic Department and College to providing the best experience we can to our student-athletes.  Congratulations to our students, coaches, and staff that made this happen."

The Falcons placed second in the overall standings, taking 71.8 percent of its potential points. Wilson took first place with 77.7 percent, the Falcons followed with 71.8, Cairn was slotted third with 71.3 while Notre Dame of Maryland (55.4) and Keystone (54.5) rounded out the top five. Rosemont (50.7), Clarks Summit (50.3), Bryn Athyn (49.6), Saint Elizabeth (46.2), and Valley Forge (32.0) close the standings in that order.

Institutional scores for the President's Cup are calculated using a graduated point system, with each participating institution earning a pro-rated share, based on conference finish. The competitive percentage rating is determined by dividing the total number of points earned by an institution by its total possible points.
