’Twas the night before move-in, and all through the halls,
LVC was preparing to welcome them all.
The door decs were hung in the hallways with care,
To greet the new Dutchmen soon to be there.
Eager students were home, all snug in their beds,
having visions of clogs flying ’round in their heads.
Stuffed totes and full boxes all packed in the car,
While families consoled themselves: “Annville isn’t that far…”
Your professors are psyched to mentor you well,
They are ready to help you go further—excel.
The fields, halls, and stages are ready for roars,
Hot Dog Frank looking on as you flourish and soar.
Our campus will fill up in what feels like a flash.
Soon leaves will turn golden for the Homecoming bash.
The friendships you’ll forge, the knowledge you’ll gain,
Will take you far, send you onward, while memories remain.
