MAPLE STREET/TENTH STREET, FROM THE CITY LINE NORTH OF COLEMAN MEMORIAL PARK ON MAPLE STREET TO POPLAR STREET IS AN ACTIVE WORK ZONE.
Please do not attempt to bypass work crews by taking a shortcut to another part of the work zone. For the safety of the work crews, including flaggers, please follow all directions from the flaggers and signage in place.
Crews will finish the crosswalks and line painting on Maple/10th Street (SR72 South), from the city line north of Coleman Memorial Park on Maple Street to Poplar Street, from September 30 – October 7, 2022 (weather permitting). If possible, motorists may want to consider using another route.
Affected areas will be posted with "No Parking" signs. Please follow the no parking instructions written on the signs. Enforcement of the “No Parking” signs may include the ticketing and/or towing of vehicles that are interfering with the progress of the work.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, pay attention to road conditions including elevated manholes, and use caution when traveling in the work zone.
Enforcement of posted street sweeping routes and the sweeping of non-posted streets will be suspended on the following streets until October 10, 2022:
Guilford Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Mifflin Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Lehman Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Church Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Scull Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
C and L Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Willow Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Cumberland Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Chestnut Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Walnut Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Locust Street – from 9th Street to 11th Street
Oak Street – from 10th Street to 12th Street
Elm Street – from 10th Street to 12th Street
Poplar Street – from 10th Street to 12th Street
Detour Route: Maple Street (SR 72 South) to south on N 12th Street to east on Walnut Street (SR422 East) to south on 10th Street (SR72 South).
