Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania's 9th district since 2019, has been vocal on recent developments involving the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and educational initiatives in his constituency. In a series of tweets, he addressed leadership changes at the CFPB and engaged with constituents involved in construction education.

On February 1, 2025, Congressman Meuser commented on a leadership change at the CFPB initiated by former President Donald Trump. He stated: "Today, @realDonaldTrump made a much-needed leadership change at the @CFPB. Now is the time to rein in the unaccountable agency by bringing it under the appropriations process, increasing transparency, and ensuring it prioritizes consumer protection over bureaucratic overreach."

On February 3, 2025, Congressman Meuser shared his experience meeting with employees participating in a training program facilitated by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) at Schlouch Incorporated Training Center in Blandon. He remarked: "It was great to meet with employees participating in a National Center for Construction Education & Research (@NCCER) training program at the Schlouch Incorporated Training Center (@schlouchinc) in Blandon. I had the opportunity to hear firsthand about their training experience."

Later that day, Congressman Meuser reacted to Secretary Bessent’s decision regarding CFPB activities: "Secretary Bessent’s decision to pause @CFPB activities is another step toward resetting the agency’s priorities. It’s time for the CFPB to refocus on its core mission: protecting consumers and fostering a financial system that remains innovative, competitive, and fair for all."
