Rep. Russ Diamond of Lebanon is collaborating with Penn State Extension to conduct gardening seminars on Thursday, October 24. The event will commence at 9 a.m. at Fairland BIC Church located at 529 W. Penn Ave., Cleona.
The seminars will feature presentations by Master Gardeners, who will cover topics such as "Gardening for Pollinators" and "Applied Biology and Chemistry Sciences in Your Vegetable Garden." Rep. Diamond highlighted the expertise of the presenters: "Master Gardeners undergo a year of training to build horticulture knowledge," he stated.
Diamond also emphasized that the seminars are designed to be accessible to all attendees, regardless of their gardening experience: “Even those of us who can barely keep a cactus alive will be able to ask questions and learn how to improve our gardens whether they are big or small.”
