Borough of Myerstown recently issued the following announcement.
This is a friendly reminder that it is unlawful to put anything on the utility poles within the Borough without permission of the pole's owner. In the Borough's case, the utility poles are owned by Met-Ed - First Energy.
Individuals looking to advertise a cause or event are encouraged to review Part 12 of the Borough's Zoning Ordinance which regulates the posting of signs, or call the Borough Office with any questions.
Thank you for your help keeping the utility poles free from safety hazards for utility employees and our residents.
