Fall Curbside Yard Waste Collection on October 11

North Cornwall recently issued the following announcement.

Fall Curbside Yard Waste Collection

PLEASE NOTE: ONE WEEK ONLY! In an effort to reduce costs but continue to provide the service free of charge, we are only collecting yard wastes for one week.

CLICK HERE for COLLECTION MAP & STREET LISTING to find out when your material will be collected!

The fall curbside yard waste collection will begin on Monday, October 11, 2021 and will ONLY RUN ONE WEEK. Materials will be collected by the North Cornwall Township Highway Department. The crew designates a different area of the Township from Monday through Thursday for this collection.

MAKE SURE YOUR MATERIAL IS OUT FOR PICK-UP BY 7:00AM ON YOUR COLLECTION DAY!

Residents should combine their Green/Garden Wastes & Tree/Woody Trimmings into one pile.  Materials should be piled directly on the street, parallel to the curb.  For non-curbed streets, place your pile of material directly on the street, as close to the edge of your property as possible and parallel with the street.  The pile cannot be more than one foot onto your property or it will not be collected!  Remember, we will only take one pick-up truck load (approximately 8ft long x 5ft wide x 5ft high).  REMEMBER: NO GRASS CLIPPINGS or POISONOUS PLANTS!

For more information, click here for the Recycling page. Regulations are listed under the Yard Waste Curbside Collections and Preparation for Curbside Collections.
