North Cornwall issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
2022 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT
Sealed Bids for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project will be received at the North Cornwall Township Building, located at 320 S. 18th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042, until 2:00 pm local time on January 31, 2022. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud shortly thereafter the same day at the same place. The Project generally consists of the Cured-In-Place Pipe lining of 2,200 linear feet (LF) of active 8-18-inch diameter sanitary sewer and 11 sanitary sewer manholes to be rehabilitated. The project also includes corresponding Closed Circuit Television (“CCTV”) inspection of lined main line.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is ACT ONE & Associates, 4701 North Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Prospective Bidders can obtain Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office by contacting Tina Shaffer at 717-236-7500, or by email at tshaffer@actoneassociates.com. Bidding Documents will be issued on a CD (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $50.00, payable to “ACT ONE & Associates”. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office without cost. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the issuing office listed above on January 5, 2022 at 9:00 am to respond to questions regarding the rehabilitation project.
Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total, a non-collusion affidavit, and the qualification requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and bids shall be prepared accordingly. Bidders will also be required to demonstrate compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
North Cornwall Township reserves the right, at its option, to waive any informalities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids and to reject any or all Bids.
