Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania’s 9th district since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting his support for military families, domestic energy production, and the semiconductor industry. Born in Babylon, New York in 1964, Meuser now resides in Dallas and holds a degree from the State University of New York Maritime College.

On December 11, 2024, Congressman Meuser expressed his endorsement of the FY25 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). He emphasized that "supporting our servicemembers and their families is essential to maintaining the world’s strongest military". The act aims to improve housing, healthcare, and childcare for military families while also supporting the careers of military spouses.

Later that day on December 11, Congressman Meuser tweeted about his meeting with Harold Hamm at an RSC meeting. In his post, he noted that "as a true titan in the American energy industry," Hamm understands both challenges and potential opportunities within domestic energy dominance. Meuser mentioned that under President Trump’s leadership, there would be efforts to enhance domestic energy production.

The following day on December 12, Congressman Meuser met with Joe Wolf, CEO of Powerex. In his tweet regarding this meeting, he acknowledged Powerex as one of the last vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturers in the U.S., crucial for national defense. He stated it was "a pleasure to meet Powerex CEO Joe Wolf today in my Washington D.C., office", underscoring Powerex's significant role amid ongoing national defense efforts.
