On February 10, 2025, Congressman Meuser expressed his support for the Protect Small Business from Excessive Paperwork Act (H.R. 736), introduced by Zach Nunn. In a tweet, he stated: "Today, I spoke in support of @ZachNunn's Protect Small Business from Excessive Paperwork Act, H.R. 736 to give small businesses relief from FinCEN’s burdensome reporting rule. Millions of businesses face costly, duplicative regulations with steep penalties."

Later that day, Meuser addressed the House floor regarding his bipartisan legislation known as the China Exchange Rate Transparency Act (H.R. 692).
