Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania's 9th district since 2019, has been active on social media discussing various legislative and local matters. His recent tweets provide insight into his ongoing efforts in Congress and community engagement.

On February 12, 2025, Congressman Meuser announced the reintroduction of the USA Batteries Act. He stated, "Today, I reintroduced the USA Batteries Act to repeal the Superfund tax on lead batteries, which will support jobs, strengthen American industry, and keep manufacturing here at home."

Later that day, he shared his experience sampling local beers with fellow members of the Pennsylvania delegation. Meuser noted his interaction with local brewers from Jackass Brewing Company in Williamsport: "Last night, I sampled some of Pennsylvania’s finest beers alongside skilled local brewers and fellow members of the Pennsylvania delegation. I enjoyed meeting Skip Kratzer and Larry Winans, co-founders of Jackass Brewing Company in Williamsport."

In a hearing conducted by the House Small Business Committee on February 12, 2025, Congressman Meuser questioned witnesses about the impact of the 1071 rule on small businesses. He reported their responses via Twitter: "In today’s @HouseSmallBiz hearing, I asked three separate witnesses whether the 1071 rule has helped small businesses. All three said no—clear proof that this burdensome regulation needs to go." Meuser emphasized his commitment to eliminating policies that hinder small business growth.
