ALSP is a rare hereditary disease often misdiagnosed due to symptoms resembling other diseases. Symptoms include mobility decline, muscle spasms, reduced pain sensation, and psychological changes. ALSP typically manifests in one's 40s and can be passed on to children. There is no cure.
