On March 5, 2025, Congressman Meuser tweeted about efforts to address waste within the federal government. He stated that "President @realDonaldTrump and @DOGE are exposing waste, abuse, and fraud across the federal government. In just over a month, DOGE has already saved American taxpayers $105 billion." He emphasized that while many presidents have promised to tackle government wasteful spending, President Trump is taking concrete actions.

Later that day, at 3:10 AM UTC on March 5th, Meuser highlighted progress in reducing illegal border crossings under Trump's administration. He claimed that "February saw the lowest number of illegal border crossings in recorded history." According to him, there has been a significant reduction in crime and smuggling activities as well.

He wrote that "America is once again respected on the world stage." He credited Trump with restoring peace through strength by imposing pressure on Iran and curbing Chinese influence.
