Congressman Dan Meuser discusses access to capital and retirement solutions with financial leaders

Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania’s 9th District since 2019, recently shared insights on his meetings in New York City with prominent financial institutions. His engagements were focused on improving financial accessibility for businesses and individuals, ensuring robust retirement savings plans, and addressing financial innovation and regulatory reforms.

On April 17, 2025, Congressman Meuser met with the Wells Fargo team, including CFO Mike Santomassimo, at their office in New York City. During the meeting, they discussed strategies to enhance "access to capital, improve small business lending, and ensure families and entrepreneurs have the financial tools they need to succeed."

Later the same day, Congressman Meuser visited MetLife, where he consulted with Executive Vice President Graham Cox. The focus of their conversation was on "ways to make it easier for hardworking Americans to save for retirement — from ensuring nonprofit" sector engagement.

In his final meeting of the day, Congressman Meuser sat down with leaders from Bank of America, including Robert Munsey, Liz Everett Krisberg, and Sruthi Prabu. The topics ranged from capital markets to regulatory reform. According to Meuser, they had "a wide-ranging discussion on the financial landscape—from capital markets and consumer behavior to regulatory reform and financial innovation."

Dan Meuser, born in Babylon, New York, in 1964, currently resides in Dallas. He holds a BA from State University of New York Maritime College, Cornell University, and succeeded Lou Barletta in Congress.
