On April 16, 2025, Congressman Meuser posted, "Immediately following the attack, I reached out privately to the Governor to express my relief that he and his family were safe and publicly condemned the attack." He further emphasized, "No matter our political differences, there is no place for violence of any kind in our society."
On April 17, 2025, Meuser announced his media appearances through a tweet: "I’ll be on @MorningsMaria on @FoxBusiness tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:20 AM. Right after that, I’ll join Wake Up America on @Newsmax at 8:30 AM." He stated that the discussions would cover "the deportation of a MS-13 gang member, the budget resolution, and how President Trump is ushering in the Golden Age."
