Congressman Dan Meuser, representing Pennsylvania’s 9th district, shared his thoughts on Twitter regarding a budget resolution set before the House, emphasizing its significance in realizing President Donald Trump's reconciliation bill."The budget resolution before the House is the bridge to President @realDonaldTrump’s 'one, big beautiful' reconciliation bill. It doesn’t matter what the bridge is made of—because it’s simply a framework. What matters is getting to the other side, where we deliver tax relief," he stated on April 9, 2025.

Later that day, Meuser invited constituents to participate in a live telephone town hall for legislative updates. His message underscored a brief delay due to voting activity, yet he promised direct communication on urgent legislative matters. "Join Congressman Dan Meuser for a Live Telephone Town Hall! Tonight! Starting at approx. 6:30 PM (may be delayed a few minutes due to votes on the House floor) Don't miss this opportunity to hear directly from Congressman Meuser as he shares legislative updates and answers".

In another tweet from April 9, 2025, Meuser reiterated the key goals associated with the budget resolution and how it ties to President Trump’s policies, including tax cuts, deregulation, and energy security. He highlighted the urgency of the matter, citing potential risks to national interests if actions are delayed."This budget resolution is a bridge to reconciliation—and to advancing the America First agenda through extending President @realDonaldTrump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, deregulation, border security, energy dominance, and pro-growth policies. Every day we delay, we risk our national".

Dan Meuser, born in Babylon, New York, in 1964, and a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College and Cornell University, currently lives in Dallas. He has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019, succeeding Lou Barletta.
